With its distinctive melodies and oral culture (verses and prayers said by “cazgir”), it shows how creative it is in the field of Intangible Heritage. The “cazgir” plays an essential role as he builds the bridge between thousands of domestic and foreign spectators and pehlivans on the field. As the living symbols of oral cultural heritage, cazgirs establish a warm dialogue among people from different cultures through a literary and poetic presentation called “dualama”.

As one of the important rituals of Kırkpınar Oil Wrestlings, Salavat is the touching poem which is song by Cazgir  before let the pehlivans to Er Meydanı for wrestling in the Oil and Karakucak Wrestlings.

In some regions, this is called also as dualama and pehlivan okşaması. From past to present, Cazgırs are maintaining this tradition.

According to the ability of Cazgır, these Salavats can be song as extemporary.

Salavat is important to give power to Pehlivan and encouragement.

In Salavats, charactheristics of Pehlivans, and the Pehlivan names from the history are told. It gives the different  soul to the young pehlivans.
